sending supermarket stickers, outgoing postcard by Ariel Greenwood

What to do with all of those stickers on the fruits and vegetables that you bring home from the grocery store? After visiting a friend's house, where the stickers were covering the friend's refrigerator, Mail Art News Media Specialist, Ariel Greenwood decided to apply herself in a different direction by applying the stickers to a postcard

from Marco Furia to Sergio Zanone

received by Jason Bartlett (from unknown)

from Jason Motsch, arrived (damaged) in a USPS plastic bag

Some photos of Diana's Mini MoMA: A Postage Stamps Sized Museum!

"The intention is to use the front room as a gallery space, the middle as a library/archive, and the backroom as a studio space."

I can't wait to see the pictures once it's ready to open to the public. Might even have to drive down to Virginia to check it out in person. The museum doesn't have an official name yet, and Diana is open to name suggestions. I'd give it a long, wordy name, so when a local newspaper writes about it, they can call it the little museum with the big name. Therefore, I suggest the name: The Hale Center for the Postal Arts and Other Creative Amusements. Not wordy enough?

Here's some outgoing mail.

I've been lookin' real hard, tryin' to find a house, but it just keeps gettin' tougher everyday. Ever tried blue lotus tea? I have. It wasn't bad. Kind of relaxing. I know that's a palm tree and not a blue lotus, but when you only have a thousand rubber stamps, you must make do with what you have.

  2. Could be a fun trip. We need to see if there are any used book stores in the area too. Cannot recall where it is right now. Somewhere in Virginia!
